What is Restylane Lyft?
Over time, natural fat begins to deteriorate, resulting in sagging skin, more prominent wrinkles and a reduction of volume. Restylane Lyft, formerly known as Perlane-L®, is an injectable hyaluronic acid gel used to correct volume loss and treat wrinkles in the face. Through nonsurgical injections, Restylane Lyft is specifically designed to add fullness to the cheeks, and midface area.
How Does Restylane Lyft Work?
Restylane Lyft works in two phases. While some results are visible immediately, the fillers do take some time to reach their full effect. After the injections, the gel adds volume that immediately improves the contour of your face. This helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines while giving your skin more support that smooths out the texture. The long-term effects of this dermal filler are produced when the hyaluronic acid in the formula reacts naturally with your skin to attract more moisture. This additional moisture boosts the volume and elasticity of your skin.
Restylane Lyft can also reduce the appearance of smile lines that run from your nose to the corners of your mouth as a result of thousands of facial expressions over the years. The added support reduces the folds and creases in the skin caused by weakened support structures.
You may experience skin discoloration (bruising), swelling, redness, tenderness, pain, itching, or small lumps in the area where you are injected. If any of these events occur, the majority usually last one to two weeks. If any symptoms last longer than two weeks, please contact our office.
